J Church – Society Is A Carnivorous Flower

Lance Hahn, the singer-songwriter and driving force behind the band J Church, but also Lance Hahn the punk historian, Lance Hahn the San Franciscan, Lance Hahn the Situationist, Lance Hahn the Asian-American. This is the sixth J Church album and the first to feature a four-piece band line-up who deliver their tightest, fastest, and loudest record to date. The album title is taken from graffiti that appeared during the workers' and students' strikes/protests in Paris in May 1968. The 15 minutes long title track is about the events of Paris '68 and is in part a tribute to the Subhumans' epic ''Cradle To The Grave'' album, technically one long song split into many smaller, distinctive components.

Fuzz against Junk - Fuzz against Junk

Fuzz against Junk formed in Summer 2002 with early gigs that included playing All Tomorrows Parties with legendary ex-Can vocalist Damo Suzuki and gigs with Oneida, Circle and Comets On Fire. The Bristol bands debut album was released on Geoff Barrow’s Invada label in 2004 and was mostly recorded in a day ‘live’at The Cube Cinema (just off Stokes Croft in Bristol) during an explosion of collective improvisation, taking influences from Fahey to Sun Ra then melting them into a psych-distortion Sunburned Hand groove, Beefheartian growl, psychedlik ffunk and ffuzzed-out freak-rock.

If you think Britain gave House to the planet and then got "clubbed to death" by sharp managers, shallow DJs and uptight authorities
YOUR WRONG!!!

The System is disintegrating everywhere you look.

Right On! Up the Evolution!
