Zuvuya - Shamania

Zuvuya have their roots in Webcore, who released three cassettes, two LP's and 12's on Jungle in the late 80s, and Tribal Drift, who also put out a 12" on Nation. Shamania's diverse material dates from 1991 when Zuvuya got together with Psychedelic guru Terence McKenna on his first visit to the Uk.
Following the "Shaman I Am" 12", Zuvuya's second album launches into tribal trance that skims on the edge of McKenna's far out universe.
Their brand of minimal beats/electronica taps on the thin walls of the psychedelic experience with pounding rhythms and ambient landscapes of sound vibrating with ancient images and echoes from the primal swamps, forests and depths of the unknown.

Antifamily - Antifamily

Antifamily are a london based collective of 15 musicians, their debut album was improvised straight to hard drive in London & Munich between 2004-6 & released on the Difficult Fun label in 2006. Antifamily turn these spontaneous improvisations into exuberant scratchy post punk, antagonistic avant-pop songs, delicate post- garage frug & hypnotic electro-dub/mutant disco. It's hard not to think of Essential Logic/ESG/ The Ex with Korg MS10s/Stereolab jamming with Slap Happy when listening to this excellent album. enjoy!!
