Lance Hahn, the singer-songwriter and driving force behind the band J Church, but also Lance Hahn the punk historian, Lance Hahn the San Franciscan, Lance Hahn the
Situationist, Lance Hahn the Asian-American. This is the sixth J Church album and the first to feature a four-piece band line-up who deliver their tightest, fastest, and loudest record to date. The album title is taken from graffiti that appeared during the workers' and students' strikes/protests in Paris in May 1968. The 15 minutes long title track is about the events of
Paris '68 and is in part a tribute to the Subhumans' epic
''Cradle To The Grave'' album, technically one long song split into many smaller, distinctive components.
