First volume of three compilations featuring dub from the south west of england and released by Nubian records in 1996, a label set up & run by Bristol reggae kings Black Roots, who hailed from the St Paul's area. The original eight-member band formed in 1979 and quickly gained a large following by touring almost non-stop around the country, playing their brand of 'militant pacifism' roots reggae.
