Glasgow in the early 90s was home to a number of exceptionally innovative, angular,high-speed, percussion-heavy,abrasive,dynamic and jabbering post-punk/avant- hardcore bands, including Archbishop Kebab, Dawson, Badgewearer,Dog Faced Hermans, Jackdaw with Crowbar, Whirling Pig Dervish Stretchheads, The Mackenzies, etc...' Pish in Your Sleazebag' vies with the boredoms at even their most inventive, riddled with outrageous samples, the album is as avant-bezerk as it is simply lacerating. The tape-play becomes high-intensity studio trickery as a few tracks slip into dub-style wipeouts, and there are lots of heavily manipulated between-song interludes.

Nice one. I seen these in TJ's in 91. Godflesh were supposed to Headline, but didn't show. The Holy Rollers were there too. They ended up playing for 2 hours. Good night it was.
The Stretchheads were on first. Crazy bald singer wrapped up in a duct tape jumpsuit or was it just a silver boiler suit? I can't recall, but they were nuts.
