Alternative TV - Apollo (Overground) 1999

'Apollo' was Alternative TV's first album of all-new material since 'My Life As A Child Star'(1994). The various styles on the album reflect Mark Perry's diverse influences & throws a lot of different ideas into this melting pot. Apart from his customary acerbic vocals, Mark also plays guitar, keyboards and most of the percussion. He is assisted by former Long Decline members Luci Bocchino (guitar) and Rob Ugly (bass) with guest appearances from long time ATV fan Roddy Frame (ex-Aztec Camera) and Nag (Door And The Window/The Reflections). Yet again, Alternative TV prove that they are still the most interesting and relevant group to emerge from the original UK punk scene.
