Calvin Party- Lies Lies & Government

The confusion over the name eventually forced the mighty levellers 5 to change their name to Calvin Party. This is the bands second album released in 2004 on probe plus.
Flitting between gloriously shambolic art rock and romantically inclined pure pop, veterans of the UK lo-fi scene create songs that excite and inspire, a reminder that music can be sometimes experimental and noisy, sometimes pretty and introspective, yet at all times inviting, warm and fun.
